Tissue Puffs

I made these adorable little tissue paper puffs for my niece's 1st birthday party.  I have received questions in the past on how to make them so I thought I'd do a post showing exactly how they're done!

They are so simple yet they add such a unique touch to any gathering you're hosting.  I've also seen people use them as decorations in a baby's nursery... so adorable!

So let's get started:

{start with 10 sheets of tissue paper piled on top of each other}

{cut in half}

{fold each half accordion style back and forth}

{secure tissue paper together with floral wire}

{floral wire can be purchased at any craft store}

{round both ends of tissue paper with scissors}

{your assembly is now complete}

{start at one end of the tissue puff and begin one sheet at a time, fluffing upwards}

{fluff 5 sheets one way and 5 sheets the other way}

{your half will resemble this after all 10 sheets have been fluffed}

{turn your puff around and begin the same fluffing technique on the other side}

{5 sheets one way and 5 sheets the other way}

{pull the floral wire out of the top a bit for easy hanging}

{and there you have it... an adorable yet simple and fun decoration for your next party!}

{oh and kids have a lot of fun pretending they are pom poms!  so really, everyone wins!}

{this is the birthday girl herself.. how cute is she??}

Have a lovely day, friends!
